Wedding/Event Frequently Asked Questions…
How far in advance should I book you for my Wedding Day?
Wedding day bookings can be made a maximum of 18months in advance and as close as a few weeks out, please get in touch via our contact page to check availability.
How soon should I book my consultation and trial?
I recommend booking your trial/consultation around 3-4 months out from your wedding day.
Where does the trial take place and how long does it typically take?
The trial takes place at my studio in Peregian Beach (trials can be accommodated at your own home for an additional fee, please get in touch to discuss.) A hair and makeup trial takes approximately 1-2 hours.
What should I bring to my trial?
Please bring images of your hair and makeup inspiration. Also bring any hair accessories or the veil that you are planning to wear on your wedding day. If you have already chosen your lipstick or any other specific cosmetics products please also bring those with you to the trial.
Does the hair and makeup price include false lashes?
Yes it does. I offer strip and individual lashes and we will discuss the most suitable option at the trial.
Can I use hair extensions?
Yes I love using hair extensions for my brides. I highly recommend clip in extensions or ‘the halo’ as they are amazing for adding thickness, length and ensuring your hairstyle lasts the entire day/night. At your trial we will discuss colour matching and I will help you order the perfect extensions to suit your hair and hair style.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Travel fees depend on your wedding location. Please get in touch via the contact page for a quote.
How many people can I book in for?
On your wedding day I can accommodate a maximum of 5 x hair and 5 x makeup on my own. For larger bookings of more than 5 people I will bring an assistant.
What makeup products do you use?
I only use the highest quality professional cosmetics. A bride’s makeup needs to be sweat, tear and smudge proof as well as camera ready. Brands such as Make Up Forever, IT Cosmetics, MAC, Nars, Urban Decay, Chanel, Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown are staples in my kit.
If you have allergies or very sensitive skin I am more than happy to apply your personal cosmetics.
How long does hair and makeup take on the wedding day?
On average I require approximately 4-5 hours for a wedding party of 5. However each wedding is different and timings will vary depending on the amount of people and the hair and makeup required.
Do you offer touch-ups after the ceremony?
Premium touch-up services are available and priced separately from your wedding day booking. If you require this service please let me know at the time of booking so we can discuss the rates.
